Meet Brooke
I'm Brooke Radech, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who believes people make more sense than they think they do.
My work is especially grounded in helping teens, young adults, and the people who love them. I bring 16 years of clinical experience, a background in schools and education, and an approach that is direct, deeply compassionate, and genuinely human.
We won't only talk about what you should do. We'll get curious about why the pattern exists, what it has been protecting, and what might work better now.
Who I work with
We start with what is happening now, make sense of the patterns underneath it, and find changes that are actually livable, not just theoretically healthy.
A grounded place to work through anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, identity, relationships, school pressure, and the messy transition into adulthood.
Therapy for people carrying too much, whether that looks like anxiety, trauma, relationship pain, burnout, or feeling disconnected from yourself.
Support that helps you understand what is underneath the behavior, communicate more effectively, and respond without losing yourself in the process.

People rarely fit neatly into one category. We can address the symptoms disrupting your life while also making sense of the relationships, experiences, and patterns underneath them.
Therapy does not require a diagnosis. I also help people navigate:
How I work

I believe therapy works best when people feel genuinely understood, not analyzed from across the room.
My approach is strengths-based, relationship-focused, and grounded in deep compassion. I use honesty, curiosity, and humor to help people lower their guard, recognize their own strengths, and make sense of patterns that may have felt confusing for years.
I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Internal Family Systems and parts work, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed approaches.
I do not force every person into one model. I use the tools that fit the person, the problem, and the moment.

Why I'm out-of-network
I'm not currently in-network because I want your care shaped by what is clinically useful, not by what an insurance company will authorize, question, or later attempt to take back.
Using insurance generally requires a mental health diagnosis to be submitted with your claims, creating a record that can remain part of your medical history. A diagnosis can be important and appropriate, but I don't believe every person who reaches out for support should automatically have to trade that privacy for access to therapy.
Private-pay work gives us more freedom to decide together what you need, how often we meet, and when the work feels complete. It also allows me to keep my practice intentional: fewer layers, more authentic connection, and focused therapy informed by 16 years of recognizing the patterns underneath what people are experiencing.
I can't promise a particular timeline or outcome. What I can promise is that I will respect both your time and your investment. My goal is meaningful progress, not keeping you in therapy indefinitely. Superbills are available if you choose to pursue out-of-network reimbursement.
