Clinical depth.
Human delivery.

I’m Brooke Radech, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who believes people make more sense than they think they do.

Brooke Radech, LMHC, CCMHC

Direct, compassionate,
and genuinely human.

My work is especially grounded in helping older children and teens, adults, and the people who love them.

I bring 16 years of clinical experience, a background in schools and education, and an approach that is direct, deeply compassionate, and genuinely human. We will not only talk about what you should do. We will get curious about why the pattern exists, what it has been protecting, and what might work better now.

Education: I earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology Education with minors in Theology and Philosophy from St. Ambrose University in 2003, followed by a Master of Science in Education in School and Mental Health Counseling from Western Illinois University in 2010.

The human behind
the counselor.

Outside the office

I'm a wife, a mom of three active kids, and a dog mom to three mini poodles. I coach youth basketball, lead a Girl Scout troop, and spend a lot of time watching my kids compete, perform, and become themselves.

I love being near water, listening to rain, psychology, philosophy, theology, science fiction, mysteries, music, creating things, laughing hard, taking naps, and finding a really good beverage.

Why this work is personal

I lost my father to suicide when I was 16. That loss shaped my understanding of grief, trauma, mental health, and the ways people learn to survive what changes them.

I do not assume my story is the same as yours, but it has deepened the compassion, humility, and respect I bring into the room.

Faith and worldview

My Christian faith is an important part of who I am. I am comfortable integrating faith into counseling when it is meaningful and requested by the client.

I work openly and respectfully with people of all beliefs and worldviews. Your values guide the work, not mine.

Ready when you are

You don’t have to keep trying to outthink this alone.
